March 5-7, 2011 Ningbo Foundry, Forging and Industrial Furnace Exhibition

1. Background
The casting and forging industry is the foundational industry of manufacturing.
Zhejiang Province has long become a major manufacturing province in China, with an output exceeding 4 trillion yuan. The general and specialized equipment manufacturing industry, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry, and metal smelting and rolling processing industry are all among the top five, accounting for a total of 26.1%.
Under the guidance of the "Zhejiang Province Advanced Manufacturing Base Construction Planning Outline", the equipment manufacturing industry in Zhejiang Province has made significant progress, establishing its position as an important engine of the new industrialization process, with an annual total output exceeding 1.5 trillion.
The rapidly developing manufacturing industry has also driven the development of the casting and forging industry, but with the increasing environmental protection requirements, some outdated casting and forging enterprises have been forced to close, leading to a significant gap in casting and forging products in Zhejiang Province, which provides new market space for casting and forging enterprises in other regions of the country.
The casting and forging industry in Ningbo City is in a leading position in the country. There are over a thousand enterprises in the city, employing 70,000 to 80,000 people. The annual production of casting and forging products exceeds 1 million tons, with a total output value exceeding 10 billion yuan.
Ningbo has developed from one of the earliest planned cities to reform and open up in the country into the most active industrial city in the Yangtze River Delta economic zone, a manufacturing base in China. Its radiation capability has expanded to the entire Yangtze River Delta.
To meet the growing demand for metallurgical products and equipment from the manufacturing industry in the province and the Yangtze River Delta region, after successfully holding the first Ningbo Casting and Forging Industry Exhibition, we will continue to hold the second session, improving the exhibition content and functions, and renaming it to the 2011 Ningbo International Casting, Forging and Industrial Furnace Exhibition and Ningbo International Casting Exhibition.
    
2. Promotion and Buyer Organization
The organizing committee will promote this exhibition to industry professionals at home and abroad through various professional media, websites, and magazines.
Before the event, we will promote it through some mass media such as newspapers, television, and radio in Zhejiang Province to gather popularity.
To ensure the effectiveness of the exhibition, the organizing committee will focus on inviting important leaders from industries such as machinery manufacturing, metal processing, mold processing, casting, forging, industrial furnaces, heat treatment, automotive and motorcycle parts, shipbuilding and repairing, cement, and hardware tools to visit and communicate.
Using the buyer information accumulated by the organizer over the years, we will directly invite them through methods such as SMS and mailed invitations.
There will be 200,000 tickets and 10,000 invitations sent to buyers from key areas in Zhejiang such as Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Zhoushan, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Hangzhou, Jinhua, as well as buyers from Shanghai and the Su, Xi, Chang areas of Jiangsu.
We will organize member enterprises to visit and purchase through cooperation with relevant associations in Anhui, Shandong, Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, and Fujian.
